From amateur guitarist to grade 8 rockschool and BA Hons!
It is without question that Dan has come a long way in his musical journey. In 2010, Dan started having 1-1 guitar lessons with professional Gawber Road, Barnsley based music instrument tutor Ian Marsh. After only a few years of lessons, Dan's hard work and determination to master the guitar combined with Ian's masterful teaching skills helped Dan achieve a rockschool grade 8 in guitar December 2014.
In 2018, Dan graduated from the University Campus of Barnsley with a First Class BA Hons in Popular Music where he further developed his skills with jazz musician Danny Maddocks.
Styles and genres
Although Dan's main genres are hard rock, heavy metal, thrash and instrumental neoclassical metal, Dan is a versatile musician who can perform a wide variety of styles to a high standard including jazz, blues, classical guitar, funk and more. He can also play and sing at the same time.

He is good at covering various guitar virtuoso's such as Joe Satriani, Marty Friedman (Cacophony and Megedeth), Ace Frehley (KISS), Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mike Stern, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac), Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) and most notably, Yngwie J. Malmsteen!
